Project Summary

Bel-Mac completed a total building exterior restoration at Augustine at the Park, a multi-story timeshare property in Rosemary Beach, Florida, on Scenic Highway 30A. On the coast, water gets in wherever a building is weakest: around windows, through walkway decks, along handrail posts and below grade. At Augustine at the Park, deteriorated framing, aging windows and worn coatings called for a complete building envelope approach instead of one-off repairs.

Our teams removed and replaced about 206 JELD-WEN fixed, aluminum-clad impact windows, restored concrete and replaced deteriorated framing. The scope also included new gutters and downspouts, Master Builders pedestrian walkway coatings, a Sherwin-Williams exterior wall waterproofing system, paver removal and replacement, a Sika subsurface waterproofing system and a new custom exterior handrail system. Handling windows, walls, walkways and railings as one project gave the owners one schedule and one point of contact, with no gaps between trades where leaks tend to start.
